Who we are

Rhodes Financial Group Limited (“we”, “us”) is a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales under company number 13644101. Our registered office is Yew Trees, Crowell Hill, Chinnor, England, OX39 4BT. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

The personal data we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us through the enquiry form on this website:

• your name;
• your organisation, if you give one;
• your email address;
• your telephone number, if you give one;
• the nature of your enquiry; and
• the content of your message.

Our hosting and form providers also process standard technical information, such as your IP address, in order to deliver the website and to prevent abuse of the form.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use this information to read, consider and respond to your enquiry, and to keep a record of the correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR: assessing and responding to approaches made to us, and keeping proper business records. Where you tick the consent box on the form, that consent records your agreement to our holding your details for this purpose.

We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell or share it for the purposes of advertising.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with our website host (Netlify), our form provider (Formspree), our email provider, and our professional advisers where that is necessary. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

Who processes your data

Two service providers process personal data on our behalf when you use this website:

• Netlify: website hosting. United States.
• Formspree: contact form handling. United States.

This means that the information you send through the enquiry form, and the technical information described above, is transferred outside the United Kingdom. Those transfers are protected by each provider’s standard contractual clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We hold a data processing agreement with each provider, and they may use the data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months from our last communication with you, unless the enquiry leads to a continuing business relationship, in which case we keep it for as long as that relationship continues and for a further six years afterwards.

Where it is held

Enquiries sent through this website are transferred to the United States, as described under “Who processes your data”. Otherwise, we hold personal data within the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, and where any other provider processes data outside that area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Looking after your information

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to those who need it.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to erase information where there is no good reason to keep it;
• ask us to restrict how we use your information;
• object to our use of your information on legitimate-interests grounds;
• ask us to transfer your information to you or another organisation; and
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
